It is first remedy in injuries to the deeper tissues, after major surgical work. It is used in traumatism of the pelvic organs and auto-traumatism. It is an excellent remedy for sprains and bruises. It is also used in complaints due to cold food or drink when the body is heated, and in affection due to cold wind. Externally, it is used in acne and boils all over.
